Meet Wendy

Wendy Tuckerman is your local Liberal Member for Goulburn.

Wendy began her career in the Australian Federal Police as an Investigator/Detective.  In 1997 Wendy and her husband purchased a farm and moved to the Boorowa area to raise their two young children. Wendy quickly immersed herself within the community and was elected to Council in 2004.

In 2007 she became the first woman to be elected Mayor of Boorowa Council and enjoyed her role for 12 years unopposed, before being appointed Administrator of the newly merged Hilltops Council.

In 2017 she was again elected as a Councillor on the Hilltops Council prior to her election as the State Member in 2019. Wendy has a reputation as someone who listens and gets things done for the local community.

Wendy understands the challenges faced by local families in the Goulburn electorate and will continue to fight and work hard for local services and facilities to make her communities even better places to live, work and raise a family.
