Our Plan For Heathcote

 LOCKING IN OUR STRONG ECONOMY

  • Keeping the NSW budget in surplus, so we can continue to invest record funding in the things that matter most.
  • Ensuring our local community in Heathcote gets its fair share of our strong economy.
  • Creating more full time jobs across NSW and funding 150,000 free apprenticeships and traineeships so more young people can get a start.

 TAKING THE PRESSURE OFF FAMILIES

  • Delivering a new Service NSW centre for Engadine so you can access Government services and rebates more easily.
  • Doubling the Active Kids voucher to two $100 vouchers to reduce the cost of living.
  • Lowering energy bills by providing solar and battery systems for 300,000 households with no-interest loans and no up-front costs.

 FIXING OUR TRANSPORT SYSTEM

  • Investing $90 billion in new infrastructure, building the first stage of the F6 extension, and upgrading Linden St and Heathcote Rd.
  • Taking the pressure off motorists by driving down the cost of green slips and delivering free or half price car rego for regular toll users.
  • Making your commute easier by increasing services on the T4 Line and building a new commuter carpark for Engadine.

INVESTING MORE THAN EVER IN HEALTH

  • Delivering record health funding, so there is help at hand when you need it most.
  • Recruiting an extra 8,300 doctors, nurses and health professionals, including over 770 for our local area.
  • Building new and upgraded hospitals and health facilities, including $81.5 million for eight new operating theatres at Sutherland Hospital.

 SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS

  • Hiring an extra 4,600 new teachers so that our children are getting the education and attention they need to get the best start in life.
  • Investing $6.15 million to clear the maintenance backlog for every public school in Heathcote, including Heathcote High School.
  • Providing mental health support for local students with two mental health specialists in every public high school in Heathcote.
