During my professional career I have worked hard to achieve success in a number of management roles in both the public and private sector.

Greg Aplin

Born to Australian parents in Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia, Greg Aplin lived the early part of his life in central and southern Africa, gained a BA Honours at the University of Cape Town and began a career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

He completed compulsory National Service from 1975 to 1977.  Resuming work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Greg was then posted to Sydney for three years and travelled widely throughout Australia.  In 1980 he returned to the new Zimbabwe to work on State visits and regional development.

Stuart Ayres

I am passionate about Penrith.  I went to school at St Dominic’s in Kingswood and McCarthy Catholic College in Emu Plains.

As a keen sportsman, I was a founding member of the Penrith Valley Sports Foundation and a past Board member of the Penrith Rams, the local AFL Club. I am even aiming to play my 200th game this season for the club.

In my job as marketing manager of the Australian College of Physical Education, I have worked with the Penrith Panthers NYC team and Panthers on the Prowl.

Mike Baird

Mike Baird is the Treasurer of NSW and was elected Member for Manly in 2007.

Mike has more than 18 years' experience in corporate banking, securitisation, debt capital markets and project finance in Australia, London and Hong Kong.

Career highlights include managing corporate finance transactions across a range of industries for Deutsche Bank and Head of Originations, debt capital markets in London for the NAB.

Bart Bassett

I am committed to working hard to deliver for the people of Londonderry. As chairman of the Windsor Road Task Force, I spearheaded the campaign to upgrade Windsor Road, the largest community infrastructure issue affecting the area.

I’m now fighting for improvements to Richmond Station and Richmond Road.

Craig Baumann

Craig and his wife Victoria with their three sons Angus, Stuart and James have lived in Port Stephens for 25 years.

Craig studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sydney, and went on to run a successful Hunter-based residential building company.

Gladys Berejiklian

Gladys was elected to Parliament March 22, 2003 as the Member for Willoughby.

From April 2003- February 2005 she served on the NSW Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee and the Committee on the Valuer General.

In February 2005, she was appointed to the Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Minister for Mental Health.

Glenn Brookes

Glenn has been a part of the East Hills community all his life. He was born at Bankstown Hospital and attended East Hills Primary and High Schools.

Glenn strongly believes in giving people a fair go, especially youth. He left school at a young age and has worked hard to build a successful local business, Sydney Signs, and is now Managing Director of four companies.
